I-35 TEXpress Lanes

The I-35E TEXpress Lanes from Denton County to Dallas County open this spring. The two reversible lanes will span 18-miles and will feature nearly 15 entrances and exits. The reconstructed I-35E corridor will provide drivers a choice. They can take the mainlanes at no cost or pay to use the TEXpress Lanes, which keep traffic moving 50 mph or faster. For the first six months, pricing will follow a schedule. After this period, traffic speeds will be maintained through dynamic pricing, meaning the price fluctuates based on congestion in the lane. Tentative opening date of 5/19/17.

TxTag, EZ TAG, TollTag, and K-TAG are all accepted on the I-35 TEXpress Lanes. HOV discounts can be obtained by pre-registering at DriveOnTEXpress.com. Need a tag? Sign up here for a TxTag.
